1 Online pm and SaaS is the way to go
2 On-line management and SaaS for India- A must and no choice

I agree that SaaS and Online project management is something which is happening in smaller instances today and will pick up with time. But the factor determining its growth and time-span will the infrastructure in place and government...

As India is looking for wider role in global economy, the wings are poised for spreading. The obvious relative robustness of its economic system (had smaller impact due to melt down) is pinning rather larger exposure for involvements in world economy....

Where there is SaaS, Paas or IaaS has to follow, since the backbone of Saas is going to be PaaS. For businesses it makes more sense to adopt SaaS, and for IT professionals, it's time to go the PaaS way. Developing on the cloud (PaaS) is going to...

This cosmic vector summation does not work on small scale. The scale has to be at least the whole solar system. On this scale, earth is just a tiny point. The constituents of earth geo-environmental system like atmosphere and geo-tectonic...

My summation of the situation is as follows: China does have economic trouble (especially since its export zones are likely to cost it more once democratic setups are increasingly demanded and the workers ask for larger compensation for their...

Well, I was given to manage my money (school note books and my scholarship) when I was in standard VIII. My children learnt to use money when they were 10 years. They at least learn to have money and use it to buy ice cream. (We had instructed them...

Correct age is when your child shows interest to understand money, and correct way is to teach them the price of every lunch they eat and what all should be bought from money............. Make them realise that 2+2 is not always 4................

We have been reading the Kapil Sibal's proposed reforms in Indian Educational system. The introduction of grading system and making class X as optional etc. are highlighted by the media pursuant to 100-day plan prepared by Kabil Sibal.                While I am very happy to know that Dr.Manmohan Singh's government is trying to make the ministers work with planning, I am not impressed at the proposed reforms in Indian Educational system as proposed by Kapil Sibal. Because, we have very serious issues to concentrate than making class X as optional. It appears to be great to the people that Dr.Manmohan Singh's government is making Right Elementary Education as a fundamental ri...

Good reading. Thanks for the referral. Yes, the Education System in India does not a thorough overhaul. If you look at the senior level (university education), you find that there are not many takers for basic education components. The mad rush...

I welcome the reforms. To make the 10th board optional and setting up a single school board at the all-India level are steps in the right direction. Gone are the days when Class 10th marks mattered. Today, admission to college/university is...

Recently I was informed about two notes about the climate change issue. One note originated from Dr. William Grey, Prof. Emeritus, Colorado University, USA  and the other by Dr. Roy Spenser, EOS, University of Alabama, USA. These notes are very interesting studies. While Prof. Grey points out that the global warming trends as elucidated in IPCC reports are all based on data sets which are dominated largely by  observations over urban regions in northern hemisphere, the large warming signal obviously can not be attributed to CO 2 warming alone. If this fact be considered as a biasing term in the analysis, it would mean that the residual warming (which may be smaller in magnitude) can not be ...

It is quiet confusing considering that the water vapour cycle plays a major in determining climate. It has infact been stated that historically a rise in co2 levels Lags the rise in global temperature by 800 years,ie CO2 rise may be the Effect of...

If you want to be a bad product manager, confuse product management with project management . The words are so close because the two concepts are so similar. Product managers should manage projects since they need to ensure that the projects get done. They re both management roles (right?) so the skills and experience are virtually the same. Project managers just get in the way and try to take control of the project away from the product manager.

It is interesting. But I always thought that project management was much more than product (it included human aspects as well). Or are we thinking robot-like?
Bellala Gopinatha Rao  |  Commented  |  3 years ago
In delivarables (as per ISO) services, project is also a product.
