The United States army is to accept immigrants with temporary US visas, for the first time since the Vietnam war, according to the New York Times. Until now immigrants have had to have permanent residency - a 'green card' - in order to qualify for the services. This is just to fill the shortage and nothing more than that... Also the immigrants have to pass english test and should have stayed in US for 2 years and and should not been out of the country for more than 90 days during that time.
