Yes it is right. Parents must understand that the children they are going to bring up are to be looked after with good health and sufficient education. In this modern world it is not easy to bring even a single child in good position
jairaj shyam prasad  |  Argues in support of  "Against human rights"  |  1 year ago
hello Kavitha,it all depends on what context one is taking it.certainly abortion is against human rights as yet to be born baby hasn't forced or beg anybody for its being.if anybody dosent want child best way is to prevent rather than kill.
G A Narayan  |  Argues in support of  "Fair"  |  1 year ago
Why father alone. Mother also has to be included. Also, there should be rules allowing abortion. Remove the the person and the family (including future heirs) from all "quota lists" if a third child is born and also dismiss both the parents from...

I got this message from a well-meaning friend, so here it is in larger public interest.   IF YOU LOVE YOUR WIFE... This is a shocking episode that happened on 13th May 2011 in Pune. This may be a good, useful lesson in safety for all of us.          A housewife died due to burns sustained in the kitchen. Her husband too was hospitalized for injuries due to burns while trying to rescue his wife.   How it happened:- The gas stove was on and cooking under process. The lady observed some cockroaches near the sink and grabbed a can of insect repellent and sprayed it near the gas stove, which was on. There was an explosion and in no time the poor woman was covered in flames, sustaining 65% burns....

It is very unfortunate such accidents happen. We in general do not follow safety rules. It is very clearly mentioned in the repellents that it is poisonous and inflammable. We should educate our people in the house such things.

World's Richest Governments   We know the world's richest man is Carlos Slim Helu of Mexico, After the two richest men in the world , Bill Gates n Warrent Buffet , gave away most of their fortune to charity )  You'll have to check with Forbes for the rest.   How about governments ? Which government is the richest (having most money that is, in US$)?If you are expecting North American and European nations, wrong ......... While the countries may look rich, wealthy European nations can't withstand a prolonged major financial crisis, just like Greece. The USA might have the biggest economy, but the American government is not at all rich;(in fact, it can't even take out US$150bn if asked to n...

Completely wrong. US of A is the world's richest government. They are printing T-notes (not backed by any assets) to finance their imports from other countries. And sucking away the assets of other countries by telling them to accept USD for their...

whatever may be the case, education must be a part of life and schools need to be free of cost for education.
VINODH VIJAYAMANI  |  Argues in support of  |  1 year ago
It should be free, but the discipline among students, teachers and staff are to be enforced.
Kavitha Shankar  |  Argues in support of  "No"  |  1 year ago
There is a need of standardization here. A small, very small amount of fee should be there so no one takes benefit of the facility. The standard of education must be good enough to lure people to admit their children to such school and shun those...

A part of India which is highly ignored has something to rejoice. A tripartite agreement on the Darjeeling hills was signed on Monday between the Gorkha Janamukti Morcha (GJM) and the West Bengal and central governments. Terming the agreement as the new beginning for Darjeeling, union home minister P Chidambaram said the central government will keep a watch on the path of the GTA and offer all kinds of help to the newly-formed administrative body.   At the core of the pact is the formation of a new autonomous, elected Gorkha Territorial Administration (GTA), a hill council armed with more powers than its predecessor Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council (DGHC) formed in the late 1980s. Officers fr...

Every thing is fine but change of name of Darjeeling will be bad.
VINODH VIJAYAMANI  |  Commented  |  1 year ago
It is very easy to formulate such kind of tribunals and make name for the government, where there are only 10 percent of interest if finished. Evaluation of the tribunal and monitor how it works without any corrupt mentalities and ensure that fruitfuls...

The darkest total lunar eclipse of this century, which will be visible throughout India, will occur June 15, an official of the Nehru Centre said here Friday. Luanr eclipse : When the sun, earth and moon come in a straight line and the earth's shadow eclipses the full moon passing through it. As the moon slips into the earth's 'umbra' (dark shadow), it will slowly assume a coppery red colour, making it a not to be missed spectacle. The lunar eclipse will start at 23:53 p.m. and end at 03:32 a.m. on June 16, and will be visible all over India, the Middle East, southern Europe and northern Africa. This will be the darkest lunar eclipse over the Indian skies this century. The previous darkest ...
