Current Industry - Education / Training / E-learning / IT Software Current Designation - Business Executive - Presales (April 2009 - Current) As a Business Executive - Presales, I am responsible to drive and manage all the phases of for driving end-to-end presales, RFx (RFP, RFQ, RFI, EOI, PQQ) efforts, bid solution, account management, and client engagement, ensuring a winning proposal is delivered on time. I extensively work with cross-functional teams, spread across geographies, for successful and optimized solution delivery and support the Sales teams in preparing Collaterals, Brochures and Client walkthroughs. My responsibilities also include defining solutions that align to the organizational learning and competency development needs and corporate strategy of customers. I also work closely with the senior management in defining market go to strategies (Productization) for the element Ks product/service portfolio and how the same could be integrated with NIITs other product and services. Key Responsibilities Presales, Bid Management, Proposal Management, Account Management, Knowledge Management, Consulting, and Research - Supporting end to end pre-sales activities and leading complex bids / proposals - Support onshore (international) and offshore (Indian) business development/ sales teams in building proposal responses (to RFI/RFPs) for customers and the bid process - Write and edit creative proposals including individual sections (RFI, RFP and RFQ) customized to meet the business objectives of clients. - Engage with onshore and offshore teams, geo spread stakeholders, and SMEs effectively and drive the bid support process from offshore without slippage in timelines and quality - Develop business solutions, win themes and value propositions that are unique and directly address the business imperatives of the clients for a winning proposal - Interfacing with clients both local and international and act as a SPOC to address presales and account management needs, give demos, presentation, and administer clients needs. - Build case studies, marketing collateral, whitepapers, differentiators, marketing docks and competency documents. - Review, perform QA, and sanitize pursuit materials to ensure a consistent look-and-feel - Understand the business and apply commercial insight to guide decisions on learning priorities and solutions - Work with stakeholders to define the learning outcomes and prepare a detailed project brief - Manage and influence multiple stakeholders, globally and at a senior levels - Research, write and organize ideas - Maintain working files and revisions of documents - Work in tandem with global departments of the organization and writing and editing creative materials - Develop and implement group strategy to manage bid content and marketing knowledge content - Recombine authored content into views and navigation structures aimed at particular subscriber groups or functions - Act as a POC for the global sales and pursuit team - Knowledge Management - Create and maintain a repository of collaterals, marketing materials, pursuit materials, and organizational documents - Work closely with Senior VP Integration and Strategy, Product Development Head, and Geo-General Manager to explore new markets with research - Define market go to strategies for various products and services offered by Element K for different markets - Work closely with key stakeholders on Competitive Analysis, Business Research, industry research, benchmarking, analysis of key markets to assess new opportunities and adhoc research requests Achievements Assisted the Presales team in US to create a Presales center of excellence in India Provided significant Presales support for a successful pursuit that won the company a $3.5 million eLearning contract Successfully handled multi-million dollar federal and corporate technical proposals spanning across different sectors.
